Self-introduction:
Professional and well-rounded office team member with superior clerical skills and customer service/human resources expertise. Successful at satisfying clientele needs while meeting and exceeding business objectives. Maintains a diplomatic tone during all proceedings. Smoothly handles administrative tasks, including team management and keeping of records. Positive, upbeat, and customer-oriented\". These are some excerpts noted by my previous supervisor at my last job, before I decided I wanted to utilize my diplomatic nature for the purpose of education. I have experience tutoring ESL students, and I am also TEFL certified. I seek to adapt to the conditions of another country as a means to build experience and thrust myself in an unknown environment as a means to build my teaching skills. I have been complemented for my patience and understanding by my ESL students, who have wished me well in my endeavors as a teacher. It was, in fact, compliments owing to my patience, intelligence, and simplification ability that led me to the path of teaching; I have been told that I am able to simplify abstract concepts in a way that students are more easily able to process, thereby facilitating their learning. I believe that my skills from office work will transition well into the environment of a school - I am technologically proficient and can not only adapt to new software quickly. In addition, my HR occupation has primed me for dealing with potentially belligerent parents or students.
